HISTORICAL MUSEUM "ERNESTO ALBERTO LAVADENZ"

FOUNDATION. Pando Historical Museum opens its doors in the building of the Civic Committee of Cobija, in February 1991. In 2002, becomes dependent on the Honorable Mayor's Office that had the merit to recover and restore it before its collapse, for deliver it to the public as a museum where some historical pieces on display. The name is attributed to pandino historian Alberto Rivera Lavadenz. The museum currently operates at the House of Interculturalism.
STREET ADDRESS. It is located at Av. February 9 facing Carretón square.
COLLECTION. In the museum you can see Winchester Model rifles from 1873, which were used during the war of Acre and the rubber boom. Photos of the First Regiment Military 1901. A black piano that belonged to Professor Rogelia Menacho, a clock from the palace of the Delegation of 1930, a magnetic phone from 1940, a clay pot from 1950 among others are also shown .
SERVICES. Through guided tours they exhibit the Acre War relics exposed during the rubber boom, a dramatic and bloody episode of our tormented republican history.
